Stakeholder Services Program Unveiled: Next Alliance Meeting March 16th

The next Alliance meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, March 16 at 2 p.m. The meeting will be held at La Strada in Lake Lure. Click here for directions.

If you've ever asked, "What is the TDA doing for me?" then this is a meeting you shouldn't miss. An important meeting for all stakeholders, we'll be unveiling our Stakeholder Services Program. Learn how your business can benefit from TDA marketing assistance. Also, as a part of this program, we'll be introducing Event Seasons, a marketing product specifically targeting seasonal events in Lake Lure and the Blue Ridge Foothills. There are now more ways than ever to promote your event and take advantage of joint marketing efforts through the TDA.

We will revisit the survey from the last meeting as well. We are collecting information on ways the TDA can better serve you and we need your input. You can complete this brief survey at the Alliance meeting or complete it online at your convenience. Read on for the survey link.

April Alliance Meeting

Have you ever been on a FAM? This April, our meeting format will be a little different. A FAM is a familiarization tour, a visit to a location within our county that you want to know more about, an attraction that might surprise you, or a hidden gem that you didn't know existed. Join us as we explore what makes Rutherford County great. We are currently accepting suggestions for the April FAM. Please e-mail Michelle Whitaker, Acting Executive Director by April 1 with your suggestions. The selected location will be announced in the next Alliance newsletter.

Short Survey - Big Impact

A crucial step in the TDA's strategic planning, we are asking all stakeholders to complete an anonymous survey about the TDA, the work we do, and the services we offer. What Are We Saying About You?

Have you read your description on the TDA web site recently? If you've added a new product or service, changed hours or just want to refresh your description, it's easy to make changes to your listing. We're also glad to link to your web site. Just e-mail Crystal Millwood with any updates to your information. Everyone benefits when your listing is accurate and up-to-date.

Package & Coupon Assistance

Interested in cross-marketing, combining marketing efforts, or creating custom packages with other Alliance members? The TDA is currently collecting information on packages and coupons offered by Alliance members. This is a twofold effort. One, we want to be able to share your promotions though our web site and other appropriate mediums. Two, we want to connect you with other Alliance members with whom you can collaborate and create mutually beneficial relationships.

To start building this database, submit your information to Crystal Millwood. Listings will be available for your review soon on the Alliance web site and will contain contact information and a description of the coupons and packages you are offering.
